Quick and Easy Peasy: Sausage and Peppers

I call this my Quick and Easy Peasy Sausage and Peppers because it is perfect to make any night of the week and is great to make with left over Sausage! In our house we grill or cook a lot of Sausage at one time. You can use any type of Sausage whether it is Spicy Italian, Sweet Italian, Chicken, or Bangers( yes, Bangers. lol.) In fact, tofu would be good as well.

What You’ll Need:

– Cooked Sausage Cut into Slices
– Bag of Frozen Peppers and Onion Mix
– Favorite Sauce (We love Barilla Roasted Garlic)
– Parmesan Cheese
– Dry Parsley

Heat up a skillet on your stove and then place Sausage in to warm up if needed. Next, place as much or as little frozen Peppers and Onion Mix into the skillet. I cook them for about 3 minutes then add some water. Cover them for about 3 more minutes or until tender. Finally, add enough sauce to cover the mixture (again more or less works for whatever you’d like.) parmesan Cheese, and a dash of dry parsley. Stir and let the flavors marry together for about 2 or so minutes just to heat the sauce. Viola! You are done!

Put this over pasta or on a delicious roll and BAM! Dinner is served! My family loves this dish. I make it once or twice a week.
